Introducing CoinRemitter’s New Crypto API Docs: A Simplified Crypto Payment Solution

CoinRemitter has launched a newly updated Crypto API Documentation, offering a more streamlined and accessible approach to integrating cryptocurrency payments. This enhanced documentation has been created to provide developers with clear, efficient, and comprehensive instructions on using various API features of our crypto gateway. With improved structure, detailed instructions, and practical code examples, the new API documentation ensures a seamless integration experience for businesses and developers seeking secure and reliable crypto transactions on their platforms.
What’s New?
One-Time Credential Submission
Older API docs required separate submissions of wallet credentials when accessing API features. The new crypto API enables one-time credential submission. Means, the individual accessing the API docs can enter the wallet credentials once and access all the API features for a particular wallet after that.
Improved Speed
The response time of the crypto API has been improved with the new docs. This means operations that are dependent on the API of our crypto payment processor may feel faster than before.
Withdrawal Speed Selection
Older API docs didn’t allow individuals to withdraw funds at their preferred withdrawal speed. The default withdrawal speed would be the one that is set in the particular wallet. The new API docs allow individuals to select a withdrawal speed when withdrawing funds. Available withdrawal speed options are slow, medium, and priority. However, increasing the withdrawal speed results in a higher processing fee.
Easier Fiat-to-Crypto Rate
When calculating fiat-to-crypto rates in the older API docs, individuals had to enter wallet credentials. We found that there is no need for credentials when performing such calculations. So, the new API docs allow individuals to calculate the crypto rate of a fiat currency without submitting wallet credentials.
Withdrawal Cost Estimation
Older API docs didn’t have the feature to calculate estimated withdrawal costs. Individuals would need to navigate to two different pages to estimate withdrawal costs. However, the new API docs allow individuals to calculate estimated withdrawal cost, including transaction fee, processing fee (according to the preferred withdrawal speed), and total withdrawal amount.
FAQs
What will happen if I am using the old API docs of CoinRemitter?
The older API docs are going to be deprecated and will be ineffective after 30 June 2025. Simultaneously, any integrations made using the older docs will be ineffective. So, business owners who accept payments in crypto are requested to shift to the new crypto API.
What is the response time of the new crypto API?
The lowest response time recorded with our API is 72 ms. However, this number may vary from device to device. You may find a faster or slower response than this, which partially depends on network congestion or internet speed.
What if I don’t select a withdrawal speed option when withdrawing funds from the API docs?
If you don’t select a withdrawal speed option when making an API withdrawal, the option set to the respective wallet will be considered the default withdrawal speed.
Can I disable API withdrawals?
Yes, you can disable API withdrawals for a particular wallet from Wallet > Credentials. If you don’t want to disable them and still proceed with them securely, then you can change the password.
From where can I try the new API docs?
You can try the new API docs from https://api.coinremitter.com/. We are currently working on improving it, and a stable version will be launched by 1 July 2025. Till then, we welcome your valuable feedback that can help businesses accept payment in crypto in an improved way.
